We are actively seeking an energetic and creative team player to join our fast-paced, collaborative marketing and business development team. For the right candidate, this role can be based either in our Portland or Seattle office.

Your new role:
As our new Marketing Coordinator, you will be collaborating with all levels of the firm and frequently engaging with consultants and other members of the design community. You will be working in a high-energy environment, quickly responding to shifting priorities while keeping an upbeat, positive attitude. You will have ample opportunities for exploring your design curiosity while you are achieving tight deadlines that will help us with winning our next project!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinating and producing proposals in response to RFPs and RFQs, leveraging and refining written and graphic content
  • Developing general marketing materials and collateral to support business development activities and SRG brand (brochures, presentations, awards, qualifications packages, etc.)
  • Supporting design teams in project pursuit interviews through coordination of leave-behind materials, presentations, etc.
  • Contributing to a variety of internal and external marketing initiatives
  • Managing information systems and internal databases, including boilerplate narratives, project profiles and graphic libraries

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a relevant combination of experience/education
  • Professional experience marketing for an architecture firm or related industry is highly desirable
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A passion for elevating the culture of design; a good sense of layout, branding and graphic design
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize a variety of tasks
  • Hard-working, motivated self-starter that is able to work with minimal direction while remaining a collaborative team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
