October 22, 2010 | SRG's Shattuck Hall Renovation at Portland State University is awarded an IIDA Oregon Honor Award in the Education category.

October 16, 2010 | SRG's renovation of Shattuck Hall at Portland State University is awarded an AIA Northwest & Pacific Region Honor Award, the highest level of award given.

October 14, 2010 | Dedication and ribbon cutting takes place this Thursday, 5:30 - 7:00 pm,  for a significant new building at South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, Washington. Designed by SRG, the new Anthropology, CAD and Geomantics building realizes Phase 2 of a 4-phase Campus Center Redevelopment Project, also designed by SRG, that emphasizes student services and learning for all.

October 11, 2010 | New hires in our Portland office: Heather Mosquera has joined SRG as Office Services Coordinator; Cheryl Harmon has joined SRG as Business Manager.

October 8, 2010 | Washington State University (Pullman) celebrated the groundbreaking of a new four-story, 130,000 sf veterinary neuroscience facility, designed by SRG. This multi-building complex will create a gateway to the Veterinary Research+Education Complex and a total 700,000 sf of space to support interdisciplinary research.

October 5, 2010 | SRG is selected by the King County Library System (the 2nd busiest in the U.S.) to design a 15,000 sf community library in Federal Way, Washington.

September 27, 2010 | SRG's Savery Hall Renovation at the University of Washington is awarded LEED Gold.

September 20, 2010 | Dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for Lane Community College's Health & Wellness Center in Eugene, OR, will be held this Thursday, September 23, at 4:00PM. The $15M, 42,000 sf allied health facility is targeting LEED Gold.

September 13, 2010 | The team of Wallace Roberts & Todd, SRG, Atelier Dreiseitl, Swift Company and 4Culture has been shortlisted to design Seattle's Central Waterfront project. Presentations, free and open to the public, will be given this Wednesday, September 15, at 7:00PM at Benaroya Hall, 200 University Street, Seattle, WA 98101.

August 26, 2010 | Shriners Hospitals for Children, Honolulu, is dedicated. SRG, working with local architect Ferraro Choi, designed the $65 million, 138,000sf replacement hospital to better respond to the unique culture, site and mission of the Pacific Islands and the Shrine.

August 23, 2010 | The Washington School for the Deaf Vocational Educational and Support Building, designed by SRG and located in Vancouver, WA, is awarded LEED Gold.

August 16, 2010 | Brittany Hanson has joined SRG's Business Development team as Graphics Coordinator. Brittany earned her Bachelor of Art/Design from Western Washington University and brings several years of relevant experience.

July 19, 2010 | The reopening of the Western Avenue hillclimb entrance to Pike Place Market is featured in the Seattle DJC. The Market is currently undergoing a $68.6 million renovation by SRG.

June 29, 2010 | The Seattle Museum of Flight breaks ground on a $12M, 15,500 gsf Human Space Flight Gallery it hopes will house one of three retiring NASA space shuttles. The gallery, which will be designed by SRG, will connect to the Museum's award-winning pedestrian bridge which SRG designed in 2008.

June 28, 2010 | SRG with ajc architects in Salt Lake City has been selected to design the new Humanities Social Sciences Administration Building for Salt Lake Community College on its flagship Taylorsville Redwood Road campus. The 136,000 gsf project will consist of learning spaces, faculty offices and administrative support space.

June 21, 2010 | A ceremonial groundbreaking of the Museum of Flight's Space Gallery will take place next Tuesday, June 29, at 10AM. The $12M, 15,500sf glass building, designed by SRG, is currently in the running to house one of NASA's retired space shuttles, and will connect to the Museum's award-winning T.Evans Wyckoff Memorial Bridge, also designed by SRG and completed in 2008.

June 7, 2010 | SRG's "Eye Dazzler" blanket design for the 26th Annual Festival of Flowers is on display in Portland's Pioneer Courthouse Square now through June 16! Inspired by the colorful, intricate patterns of Native American blankets woven by Pendleton Woolen Mills, this year's "Weaving Tradition" theme is articulated in the arrangement of nearly 20,000 flowering plants and herbs.

June 4, 2010 | Oregon's new Tualatin Public Library earns international recognition for excellence in environmental design with the Edison Award from General Electric. Designed by SRG and Keylight+Shadow LLC, the library's combination of daylighting and energy efficient fixtures provides high quality light for reading while reducing operating costs.

Revitalizing the campus, Columbia Hall contributes 43,000 square feet of new space for a wide range of services, including health sciences classrooms and labs, a bookstore and a cafeteria.
