Dennis Haskell has a background in site planning and urban design, with special expertise in projects involving transit and waterfronts. His nearly 40 years of experience has included numerous high-profile public projects and extensive mixed-use development work throughout the West Coast, Hawaii and Alaska. Prior to joining SRG he played an instrumental role in projects such as the Seattle Central Waterfront Master Plan, Mukilteo & Seattle Ferry Terminals, and the Seattle Streetcar. Dennis earned master’s degrees in City Planning and Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Virginia. He has served as an assistant professor of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a guest lecturer and critic at the Universities of Virginia, Washington and Hawaii, as well as Chair of the Seattle Design Commission.
