Clean Water Services
Administration Building and Water Quality Lab
The Administrative Building houses the Clean Water District’s staff of 160 and is connected to the existing Water Quality Laboratory designed by SRG and completed in 1995. The building is designed to be a model of environmental stewardship highlighting water conservation, stormwater management, ventilation, and daylighting strategies. Access to views creates a direct connection with the spectacular site while landscaping with native vegetation is used to integrate the building with the surrounding environment. The building’s green benefits include 75% water use reduction; an energy-saving daylighting design; and energy-saving natural ventilation system capabilities.
