Engineering Building Unit 2 (EBU2) is a 150,000 sf research and instruction facility housing the Departments of Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The facility houses state-of-the-art research space designed to attract and retain faculty and to adapt to evolving changes in program demands and research/teaching methodologies. Two- and three- story openings provide natural daylight to all research spaces and provide light and natural ventilation to the interior circulation system. The building forms a gateway to the engineering precinct on campus and a dramatic, shaded courtyard that is the heart of the complex. SRG developed the DPP and served as the design architect through design development.
