Our Philosophy and Manifesto
We recognize our work not just as buildings, but as ideas inspired by people, and opportunities to create places that endure.
Is this a playground? A park? Outdoor concert venue? No. It’s a parking garage designed as a #brandexperience. While parking in a garage is usually one of the most unremarkable routines of contemporary life, this design upends those expectations with modulation, rhythm and super-graphics that excite visitors and employees as soon as they arrive on campus. The LA Garage blends architecture inspired by athleticism with storytelling themes about Los Angeles sports, including the 1984 Summer Olympics and professional LA teams. Our design features a community gathering space that invites users of all ages to run, slide, and climb. Oh, and park.
